"As Head Of Centre I oversee the leadership and management of both the Children's Centre and the Nursery School. I am very lucky to have two dedicated and committed teams who work very  hard and who are passionate about their jobs. At the Children's Centre, with the help of other professionals we deliver a range of services to children and their families, helping children achieve the best start in life. At the Nursery School we provide care and education to children aged three to four years from 8am – 5.30pm"

"As Centre teacher and part of the
Senior Management Team, my role is to
manage the Early Years Practitioners
within the Centre and the wrap-around
care at Duke Street Nursery School.
I also work closely with other
Childcare Providers and Schools in
the local community to promote
good practice and high quality
Childcare and Education."

Extended Services Manager
 
"As the Extended Services Manager,
my role is to manage the Outreach
Team who support local families
in safeguarding children along with
parental and family outreach. I also
facilitate partnership working
with our extended team of
multi-agency professionals in Health,
Care, Education and Job Centre Plus.
This is to enable seamless services to be
delivered to local families and for
Duke Street to be the Hub of the Community.
 Outreach Workers:
We are the team of outreach workers, we work together with families offering support and guidance. We work within the centre in the organised groups and also out in the community visiting families in their own homes. we can signpost people to the services they need. We offer the role of keyworker to those in the most need of our help, until they reach a place they no longer require our help.
